On behalf of Rita and all the ladies of the Choir, can I
please ask you to convey our heartfelt thanks to Andrew
and all the gentlemen of the Dalesmen MVC for your contribution
to our very successful concert on Saturday night. I think
you will agree with us that it was a splendid evening, and
the many comments we have had from the audience, tell us
that it was very well received by them too. I trust you
had a good journey home, and a much-deserved lie-in on Sunday
morning! I hope we will be able to find a suitable date
in the near future when we can join together for another

get from your singing was very infectious. We are all
very impressed with the amount of time and effort you
must all give. Thanks to you we raised the splendid sum
of £430 for which we are very grateful. RL

St. Luke's Church, Leek, Staffordshire - October
2007
"On behalf of the Scout Holiday Homes Trust, I would
like to thank the Dalesmen Male Voice Choir for their performance
on 27 October 2007. What a wonderful night we had, it was
amazing. The comments we received last night and this morning
were really nice, everyone enjoyed the concert so much.
After the concert Colonel (Dr.) Sethi (Deputy Lord Lieutenant
of Staffordshire) was really impressed with all the performers
on the night and said he especially enjoyed the soloist
and the choir singing together. At the concert were a number
of residents from the Nursing Home, where I work and one
gentleman, Frank, some years had a bad stroke, which took
his speech. Last night Colonel Sethi spotted the Regimental
Badge on Frank's blazer and went to talk to him. With all
the excitement of the concert I though I would call to see
if he was all right this morning. When I arrived, Matron
said, "You had better go up to see Frank". To my amazement
he had started to talk, not very well yet, but you could
tell what he was trying to say. It seems that he enjoyed
the concert very much. God bless him, he made me feel quite
emotional. Thank you all once again". |

Bury St. Edmunds - September 2007
"My sincere thanks to all the Dalesmen for the valuable
contribution that you made to a very successful concert
at Trinity on Saturday evening. On Sunday I heard so many
expressing how enjoyable they found the concert. It was
also a success in financial terms. The final amount raised
was just short of £1,200 of which £600 is being sent to
the Zimbabwe Victims Support Fund, to be used to sustain
people at the very edge of existence. I hope that you had
a good concert on Sunday and a safe journey home and I look
forward to a future event which might allow us to sing together
again " |

how much we enjoyed your company last weekend. My wife and
I enjoyed your concert at Harleston. It was nice to see
a concert without all the hard work involved in putting
it on. It was obvious to us that, not only were you a good
Choir but also a happy Choir and we look forward to visiting
you in 2009." |

"Thank you so much for the wonderful farewell concert
you presented this evening and for the beautiful flowers.
Brian and I very much appreciated it all. Thank you, too,
for the "This is Your Life" - I couldn't have
made up a better story! (especially taking five years
off my life). I received £430 - £230 has gone
towards repairs at the Church and £200 to St. Lukes
Cheshire Hospice (my husband's brother died of cancer
last week). Every continued blessing".

Derby - March 2007
"On behalf of the Derbyshire Association for the
Blind I would like to thank the Dalesmen Male Voice Choir
for your contribution towards Pat Taylor's retirement
party on Saturday evening. Many people have told me how
much they enjoyed the music you performed. You gave the
evening a real flavour of success. Many members of staff
worked hard to ensure Pat enjoyed a night to remember.
We could not have achieved this without the help and support
you have given us. I would like to personally thank you
for making the process very simple. You are a very professional
outfit and a pleasure to work with".

Belper - March 2007
"Thank you so much for organising a wonderful concert
on Saturday evening. Your support is very much appreciated
and really does make a difference to the lives of the
children and families in our care. Rainbows offers respite,
palliative and terminal care for the children as well
as offering support for the whole family. Care is provided
by a dedicated and caring team of professional nurses,
carers and therapists in a "home from home" environment.
To continue to provide the care and support to the children
and their families we have to raise in excess of £2 million
every year and this really wouldn't be possible without
the kind help and support we receive from organisations
and people like you. Sadly the need for Rainbows will
never disappear but with help such as yours we can continue
to provide this very special care and support. Once again,
many thanks for thinking of rainbows. With deepest regards,
Community Fundraiser"
