The Derventio Choir
The Derventio Choir has been running since 1992.
We meet every Tuesday evening from 7.45 until 9.30 at St Edmund’s Church Hall in Allestree, Derby.
Here we sing under the direction of Lynne Lee.
The choice of music is eclectic ranging through music from the shows, traditional folk songs, spirituals and sacred music.
In fact anything we would like to sing and we think the audience would like to hear.
Rehearsals are a serious time but involve much laughter and a great deal of enjoyment.
Geoff Hooley accompanies us during this time and at our concerts.
